Hello Team Sarah!
As our big day approaches we need YOUR help!
Tonight we will be getting the flier out! We need you to forward! Forward! Forward!
We need poster boards & display boards for this Saturday! Bring your markers, scissors, tape & glue and whatever else you think we may need.
We want everyone to forward Sarah's website to at least 5 people on your email list! The new website will be debuting soon!
We are so excited to see what God has in store for us.
Through our trails of last year, we know God has given to us more than we deserve, more than we can ever give back. However; we have learned how to persevere in prayer, this has allowed us to stand with other families and support them. We are so excited to reach out to others.
Thank you ALL for your support! There are far to many to list here but you know who you are. Some supported Sarah's parents, some supported Sarah's grandparents, some supported Sarah's siblings & some of you supported Sarah's aunts, uncles & cousins. And then some of you supported all of us. We thank you ALL!
Illness is a family event. Sarah needed her parents, her parents needed their parents & the rest of us filled the empty spots that were left. We had to come together as a family to keep life going on - thank you for helping us keep our sanity & praying when we could not pray.

What Jesus' brother, James, taught me last year...
Our belief in Christ was at the forefront last year & will continue to be. We have never professed to be religious people, just people who put our faith in Christ. James 1:26-27 tells us the difference in useless religion & pure, undefiled religion:
26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. (New King James Version)
We should always be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; it causes so much pain. It can even cause young believers to question their new faith when the ones who profess the gospel, disobey it! It is easy to talk the talk... anyone can speak "chistianeese", so speak. However, walking the talk takes choosing daily to live as Christ would want you to.
19...swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (James 1:19-20, New King James Version)
Always watch what you say:
5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.
See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. (James 3:5-12 New King James Version)
Matthew 12:34 says:
34 ...For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
What your mouth speaks tells EVERYONE what is in your heart. Learn to say the things that buid life into others, the life of Christ. A great saying "you may be the only Bible someone sees". What are you saying about Christ? What do others see when they hear your words... what is in your heart?
*if this angers you, think about what is in your heart. If this convicts you, pray & ask God for forgiveness, than you must change. If this blesses you, then be blessed & now you bless others with your words.
